Runwood Homes 2018 Conference Round Up

Runwood Homes held its annual conference, attended by all our Home Managers, on Friday at The Grove Hotel in Chandler's Cross, Hertfordshire.

The conference kicked off with an overview from our COO, Gavin O’Hare-Connolly, of the past years successes and our plan for another strong twelve months in continuing to provide an excellent experience for our residents in our care homes. 

Professional and motivation speakers, Paul Blane and Dr Mandy Bennett from CBA Care Training, inspired our Home Managers to maintain providing a brilliant service for residents across our 72 homes. Our Dementia Services Team shared a wonderful slideshow of activities and outings our residents have been involved in, and Susan Alabaster, HR Director, talked about our professional care teams being a huge importance in delivering quality care. We gave an emotional farewell to long standing employee, Muriel Robinson, Director of Clinical Services, and wish her many happy years of retirement ahead. 

Finally, the awards winners were announced and presented with their prizes by Sarah Sanders, Business Operations Director and Sue Smith, Director of Marketing and Customer Care.
