Kathryn Court residents work together to make delicious, rewarding meal for the home!

Residents at Kathryn Court made pizza last week from scratch, they then sat together and enjoyed socialising eating them at lunchtime.  Needless to say there was none left once lunch had finished! Residents loved socialising with one another, being creative, the sensory benefits from the various smells, as well as the activity building their self esteem. Cooking together is a meaningful experience that gives them all a sense of purpose cooking a meal for friends.

Residents said “It’s lovely to always have something different to do here. The food tasted excellent and I’m so proud of myself.”

Kathryn Court is a 52 bed home situated in the heart of Shoeburyness, Essex.
