Residents at Victoria House in Watford get stuck in during baking session.

Residents and staff joined together to make some delicious cupcakes at Victoria House care home in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Residents made the cakes in the morning and went on to ice them in the afternoon, in perfect time for their tea break in the afternoon.

Staff at the home said “Residents had a fabulous time making the cakes and next month they will be making mince pies.” 

Victoria House is a purpose built day centre, situated opposite Greenbanks Care home, and is a 10-15 minute drive from Watford town centre. The Day Centre is open daily from 9am until 4.30pm and has a large dining room, a sensory room, a separate TV room and an activity room.
