'Alexandra Home' by Pauline Speed

We all have that special place, we love to call home,

But when health fails us and we can't manage alone,

At Alexandra House, you'll have excellent care,

Dedication and friendship and memories to share.

 

The Christmas party was lots of fun,

Prettily wrapped presents and raffle prizes to be won,

Singing, even dancing, if you were able,

(Very carefully now, if you're not too stable!)

A lovely time was enjoyed by all.

Even Father Christmas gave us a call!

From mince pies to hot cross buns,

Now looking forward to when springtime comes,

Sunny days in the garden to look forward to,

Pretty plants and flowers give a lovely view.

Day trips out with family and friends,

The care and kindness here, never ends.

 

So a very big THANK YOU to all concerned,

This praise you deserve, is so very well earned.

Don't ever worry that nobody will care,

Just remember Alexandra House, is always there.
