Runwood Homes celebrates positive CQC inspection reports
Runwood Homes are celebrating a run of positive inspection outcomes, carried out by the Care Quality Commission, resulting in good, invaluable ratings for a number of our residential care homes across England.
Windle Court in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, has successfully improved its CQC rating from Requires Improvement to Good in all 5 KLOE areas. Additionally, The Mill House in Norwich, Norfolk, also improved its overall rating to Good, from Requires Improvement. New ratings were published in reports dated September 2019.
The good news continued into October, with Leatherland Lodge care home in Grays, Essex, upholding their favourable standards, meeting the industry regulator's guidelines, and, as a result, achieved Good in all 5 Key Lines of Enquiry.
COO, Gavin O’Hare-Connolly, comments, “The recent inspections by the CQC evidences our commitment, as an a large organisation, to support our individual services, and that we are maintaining good quality standards."
"Over the past year, we've worked hard to establish a managerial and operational structure, and launched key, innovative initiatives across Runwood Homes which are concurrent, and we believe this has assisted in achieving this string of strong reports, which we anticipate, will continue.”
Runwood Homes operates over 70 residential care homes across England and Northern Ireland, providing residential care, dementia care, nursing care, day care and respite for older people, including those living with dementia.
