Windle Court residents enjoy great Rock ’n Roll singer and Virtual Reality game!

Windle Court residents had a brilliant time when the home invited in a singer to entertain residents with some Rock ’n Roll classics, and they even got up and had a dance!

When Andrew, the homes Wellbeing Lead, purchased a Virtual Reality console, the residents were ecstatic to try it. So far they have been on VR rollercoasters, a hot air balloon and even a safari. Virtual reality is emerging as a useful tool to bring about positive change for the elderly, especially those living with dementia. From reducing loneliness to transporting the infirm to far-flung places, without the need to travel, VR is enhancing the lives of senior citizens across the globe.
