Meadow View care home pilot project with the Alzheimer’s Society.

Meadow View care home are pleased to be the first home in Northern Ireland to pilot the project with the Alzheimer’s Society, which brings volunteers in to homes to have meaningful engagement with residents, especially those living with dementia.

Mary, one of the residents, loved making the volunteers tea and refreshments, and said she used to make these at home for her guests.

Peggy, another resident, had a brilliant time bonding with Benji over a session of pet therapy. Sandra, Benji’s owner, was more than happy to bring her furry friend into the home for lots of pets and cuddles!
