Alzheimer's Society volunteer visits Meadow View for beautiful cake decorating session.

Meadow View care home are pleased to be the first home in Northern Ireland to pilot the project with the Alzheimer’s Society, which brings volunteers in to homes to have meaningful engagement with residents, especially those living with dementia.

Sandra, who is connected with the Alzheimer’s Society, showed residents how to decorate the top of the fairy cakes with sugar paste and make a mould of flowers and other things! The residents really, really loved it.
