Residents at Oak Tree Manor enjoyed another visit from Seymour Hill Pre-school School as part of the Care Citizens Hub collaboration.

Residents and staff enjoyed another visit from Seymour Hill Pre-school. The pre-school regularly visits the residents as part of the Care Citizens Hub, which the homes manager, Michelle, set up with the South Eastern Trust. The initiative encourages schools and colleges in the local community to take part with projects and activities with the residents.

Paul Gaskell, Runwood Homes’ Director of Wellbeing and Dementia Services delivered training to the community groups prior to their visit to help understand the condition clearly. Feedback from residents and staff has been fantastic, and the children loved spending time colouring and chatting with the residents.
