Crowstone House staff create fun, sensory ‘dot-to-dot’ game for residents.
Trish, the homes Wellbeing Lead, created the game, appropriately called ‘dot-to-dot dancing’, for the residents to play.
She printed the dots out, then placed a row of four dots in front of each resident. Using music as a rhythm, Trish would call out a colour, and the residents would follow by touching the correct coloured dot with their foot.
Trish said, “It was super easy to make and it got the residents using sensory skills and exercising at the same time. It was a lovely activity for everyone involved and the residents seemed to really enjoy themselves”
