Victoria, granddaughter of a resident at Leawood Manor, films documentary ‘Beyond the Mind’

Victoria is filming her grandfather, as well as other family members outside of the home, to form a documentary about dementia and the effect the disease can have on a family, for her university course. She visited Leawood Manor, where her grandfather lives, to find out about care home life, and interviewed a member of staff about how they use specialist care for those living with dementia.
