Maintaining contact and keeping active - see what our residents are getting up to!
During this period of the Coronavirus pandemic and visiting restrictions, our staff and residents have been keeping busy and carrying out frequent contact with their family members and loved ones. Whilst visiting is restricted, residents have been maintaining contact with phone calls, text messages, emails, Facetime and Skype, and even postcards and letters!
Have a look at some of the activities our residents have been getting up to, spreading happiness and joy.
One of our Bramwell residents has been enjoying a lovely selection of sweet treats and a glass of wine!
Brewster House residents in Maldon, Essex, and staff have been keeping engaged in a friendly game of Scrabble.
Broomhills care home in Rochford have been keeping residents busy with 'Fun with Food', lots of fun games and chair exercises.
Staff at Kathryn Court in Shoeburyness captured these lovely moments with residents Facetiming their relatives and keeping up-to-date with them.
Here we have Leatherland Lodge's (South Ockendon) home manager, Kerry, assisting residents contacting their families.
One of Silvanna Court's (Wickford) residents son's brought her flowers, and even though he couldn’t take them to her himself, staff at the home sent him a photo to keep him updated.
