Maisie celebrates her 100th birthday at Leawood Manor

On 7th October 2020 at Leawood Manor, residents and staff raised their glasses and wished resident Maisie a very Happy 100th Birthday!

Maisie received cards, flowers and presents from members of her family and friends, and, of course, a birthday card from Her Majesty The Queen.

In the afternoon, Maisie celebrated by having a cream tea with her family and friends at Leawood Manor in a Covid-safe garden visit.

When asked how she felt about turning 100, she said, "I didn’t think I would get this old! I’ve had a lovely day and I will treasure my card from Her Majesty."
