Kate Emery

Kate started her career in the Royal Air Force, and during this time she undertook voluntary roles. Whilst serving in Cyprus, she supported children living in a institution, which had a profound affect on her, and inspired a career change in 1995.
Kate has worked within the children, young adults and elderly services and has been fortunate to have some amazing opportunities within the Charity, Local Authority and Private sectors, including: Quality Manager, Registered Manager, Turn Around Manager, Regional Management and Adult and Child Protection Roles.
Kate holds the Registered Managers award, Management Qualificationsm and has completed a BSc in Health and Social Care with the Open University and a BSc in Dementia Studies at Bradford University. Kate has also completed her Dementia Mapping Course with Bradford.
Kate is passionate about providing creative and unique support to all residents, their families, and our staff. Kate strives to provide professional support, guidance and regular contact, to ensure that the Runwood Homes values and ethos are intrinsic within all homes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
