Windmill House creates Valentine's Day Gifts for Local Community
Residents at Windmill House in Wymondham, Norfolk, were featured in the Eastern Daily Press after spreading the love throughout their local community this Valentine’s Day.
After very kindly receiving some lovely donations of chocolate hearts from the town’s sweet store, Yum Yums, and the local Morrison’s, residents used their creative skills to package up the sweet treats with a short message. The packages were then left around the town on Valentine’s Day for lucky passers-by to find.
Those who found the packages were encouraged to send in a photo to show residents the smiles they had put on people's faces.
Wellbeing Lead at the Home, Fran Annis, came up with the idea, stating the importance of being able to keep residents involved with the local community.
