Visiting Update - 17 May 2021

From Monday 17th May 2021, Runwood Homes are delighted to increase the number of visitors per resident to 5 per week to mirror the Government guidelines.

 

Please note that whilst 5 visitors are allowed per resident, the maximum allowed at any one time per resident is two, meaning visits will need to be planned accordingly across the week. We will continue to provide LFT testing on the day of each visit and require sufficient PPE to be worn upon entry to all visitors, enabling us to continue to safeguard residents and colleagues. If visiting policies in certain locations change, we will follow the advice and guidance of the local health and community services, and family members will be informed regarding this from the appropriate care home.

 

Overnight stays in a hospital setting or elsewhere will continue to require a 14-day isolation upon return to the care home, however, residents will not be required to isolate if attending clinical appointments.

 

All residents across the Group have been offered a vaccination, with over 95% of residents already having their first vaccine, and over 75% of our colleagues have been vaccinated, with this number increasing steadily.
