Leawood Manor Celebrate National Arts in Care Homes Day with 'By the Sea' Themed Event

Leawood Manor celebrated National Arts in Care Homes Day on Friday 24^th September with a selection of creative activities all based around the theme ‘By the Sea’.

Residents baked and decorated a brilliant, themed cake, participated in a flower arranging activity, painted, and had the chance get involved in some sand bottle making.

All residents at the home also enjoyed inputting their own creative ideas and planned together to create a brilliant art piece, and the results are amazing!

The day finished off with a traditional fish and chip meal of course, to keep in line with the theme.

Overall, residents had a lovely and entertaining day, full of exciting activities.
