Blackthorns achieve 'Good' PAMMS Report

Blackthorns are delighted to have received a ‘Good’ rating from PAMMS (The Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution) an online assessment tool, designed to help assess the quality of care delivered by providers of adult social services. The home was given their rating following an audit and observation of the home and its services. The areas reviewed include; the involvement of and information for service users, personalised care and support, safeguarding and safety, suitability of staffing and quality of management.

As stated in the report, the inspection found that:

“Adults were seen to be spoken with respectfully by staff in friendly tones and during conversations about the adults and their days. Staff knew the adults they supported and described their patterns and behaviours. Staff made adults smile with compliments and checked on their needs. Staff spent meaningful time with adults during the lunch experience, generating conversations at dining tables and encouraging meals to be enjoyed.”
