Braywood Gardens deliver home-made hampers to NHS as a heartfelt thank you

The team at Braywood Gardens Care Home, in Carlton, Nottingham, have taken the time to thank their local hospitals for their continued hard work and dedication.

On the 3rd and 4th of February, staff members at Braywood Gardens made their way around the town delivering home-made hampers, filled with treats and goodies, to the John Proctor Ward at Lings Barr Hospital.

The team at Braywood Gardens work closely with these wards to ensure residents have the smoothest and most comfortable transition from the hospital to the home.

Customer Relations Manager, Lydia Morris, found the initiative to be a really important one, and commented:

“The wards we work with work so hard to make sure their patients are well cared for and safely ready for discharge. This hard work does not go unnoticed, and we want these members of staff to know how much they are valued and appreciated.”

The initiative reflects the important values that Braywood Gardens hold, which revolve around community, wellbeing and care.

The hampers express the gratitude that everyone at the home has for the professional teams within their community and look forward to watching these relationships with them continue to flourish.
