MP for Rochford and Southend East visits local care home for Care Home Open Week

Residents, families and care home staff at Kathryn Court were thrilled to receive a visit from James Duddridge, MP for Rochford and Southend East, as part of Care Home Open Week.

Families and residents celebrated Care Home Open Week alongside, MP James Duddridge, who participated in a variety of fun activities during his visit.

Care home Open Week is a week-long celebration, connecting and engaging with the wider communities and showcasing the features, facilities, and the wonderful residents at Runwood Homes Senior Living.

Care Home Manager for Kathryn Court, Donna Winterborne, said: “I felt privileged that MP James Duddridge chose to have a look around Kathryn Court today as part of Care Home Open Week.

During his visit Mr Duddridge was taking part in the activities and it was great to see him chatting to everybody in the home. I am very proud of our home, staff and the dedication each person offers to our residents and their families.”
