Blackthorns care home welcomes Secretary of State for Education, Mr James Cleverley MP
Residents and care home staff at Blackthorns were thrilled to receive a visit from Secretary of State for Education and MP for Braintree, James Cleverly.
The team welcomed the MP with a tour of the care home where he had the opportunity to interact with residents and participate in a variety of activities.
During his visit, he personally congratulated everyone on their continuous hard work and dedication to providing high quality care at Blackthorns. He also commented on the welcoming atmosphere and personal touches around the home.
Care Home Manager for Blackthorns, Jo Robbin Coker, said: “I felt privileged that the Secretary of State for Education, Mr James Cleverley MP had the opportunity to visit Blackthorns care home.
During his visit, he said it was refreshing to visit a care home that had such a great atmosphere and passion about the home from all members of the team. I am very proud of our home, team and the dedication each person offers to our residents and their families.”
