Windmill House celebrate NAPA award for best Queens Jubilee Care Setting 2022

Windmill House, operated by Runwood Homes, were delighted to receive the NAPA award for The Queens Jubilee care setting of the year 2022.

They were selected as a winner because of the team’s involvement in a variety of community themed events to honor the Queens Platinum Jubilee.

The team and residents created flowers and crowns for the town’s community blooming art wall project as well as planting Platinum Jubilee themed displays for all to enjoy. They were also involved in a Jubilee party with the Wymondham ukulele band.

Organisations in the local community supported Windmill House during this special occasion such as Wymondham Ukulele Band, Co-op Funeral care, Morrison's PLC, Wymondham Town Team, Wymondham in Bloom, Annette James and Wymondham Lions Group.

Fran Annis, Wellbeing Lead, said: ‘Thank you to NAPA for the recognition award, presented to a great team, who have helped to create special celebrations for our residents and families to enjoy.

We really value and thank our supportive wider local community enabling our residents to take part and feel included during such a historic and poignant the Queens Platinum Jubilee.’
