Loganberry Lodge care home launches new community dementia café
Essex care home, Loganberry Lodge, will be launching a new community dementia café in Stanway, Colchester.
The café will be a safe and supportive service for residents, staff, family members and the local community to socialize with one another and access information on dementia. The café will be open to everyone on Wednesday 29th of March and will be operating on the last Wednesday of every month.
At the launch will also be Director of Wellbeing and Dementia Services for Runwood Homes, Paul Gaskell who will present the session to the wider community to discuss the causes of dementia and how to reduce the risks. He will also discuss the different realities and the importance of communication.
