Egg-stra special Easter celebrations at Windmill House care home
Wymondham care home, Windmill House, ended Easter festivities with an extra special celebration event on Monday the 10th of April.
Crafted by the residents at Windmill House, 15 handmade Easter eggs were hidden in the historic town of Wymondham for the local community to discover.
The event was open to adults and children in the Wymondham community, running from 11am to 4pm.
The lucky participants returned the eggs and were rewarded with a chocolate egg from the residents at Windmill House.
Once all eggs were collected, residents, families and the local community enjoyed a celebration party at the care home.
Wellbeing Lead for Windmill House, Fran Annis, said: “It is so important to connect Windmill Residents with the local community and want to thank everyone for taking part in the Easter celebrations. We have a fantastic, caring team at Windmill House who go above and beyond for all the residents and cannot thank everyone enough for their support.”
