Ashwood care home hosts spectacular Pride Month celebrations

Ashwood care home in Ware, hosted a spectacular Pride Month celebration with family, friends and the community of Ware.

In its third year, the care home Pride event was bigger and better than ever before, proudly celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

With the sun shining, and surrounding by upbeat live music, the residents at the care home had a lovely time laughing, chatting, and dancing throughout the day. The garden was adorned in Pride flag decorations, showcasing a colourful rainbow display for all to enjoy.

By celebrating the important occasion at Ashwood, the team aim to recognise the importance of diversity, inclusivity, and equality.

This month has seen homes across the Runwood Homes Group celebrate Pride in a variety of different ways. With parties in the garden, arts and crafts, singing, dancing and colourful window displays, this month’s activities have encouraged meaningful conversations and echoes our commitment to provide a welcoming environment for all.
