Four staff members covered 19 miles to raise money for Jubilee Court care home

A long journey from Jubilee Court care home in Hucknall to Matlock was completed by team members and residents at the care home.

The care team walked to Matlock in the month of July, covering 19 miles. A separate walk with residents with limited capacity took place on the 10^th of August, covering 10 miles, from Jubilee Court to Hucknall and back.

The care home manager and team members took part in the sponsored walk to raise money for the amenities fund in the home.

Residents and team members raised an impressive £700.00 for Jubilee Court.

Deborah Mills, Wellbeing Lead At Jubilee Court, said: “We had such fun last year walking to Newark (25 Miles) so decided to do it again this year, but to Matlock this time. This year we wanted to include our residents and decided to host a wheelchair push from Jubilee court care home to Hucknall, with lunch on the way. All the money raised will go towards our resident’s amenities fund and for those living with Dementia. A huge thank you goes to everyone for taking on this difficult challenge.”
