Saddle up for a country western style garden summer fête at Waterfield House

Waterfield House care home in Hadleigh invited the community to join in the festivities at their Country-Western style summer garden fête on the 30^th of September.

Located in the stunning summer garden at Waterfield House, the event was an afternoon of fun, laughter and community connection.

As the summer evenings have started to dwindle, Waterfield House had a memorable send-off with a country and western twist.

The summer fête featured a delightful array of stalls, a raffle, mouthwatering BBQ, tombola, creative face painting, spirited line dancers, a live music performance, refreshing beverages and games.



This event is open to everyone, ensuring that all members of the community can come together to celebrate in the spirit of togetherness.

The fête was designed to provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where the community and friends can come together, connect, and have a fantastic time. From the energetic line dancing to the melodious live music, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The stalls offered a variety of goods, and the BBQ provided mouthwatering flavours to appeal to everyone.

Waterfield House encouraged all attendees to participate in the raffle and try their luck at the tombola, while children painted their faces with their favourite designs. The games and activities kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon.

Amanda Thackery, Care Home Manager at Waterfield House, said: “We were so excited to host our Country Western-style summer garden fête at Waterfield House. The summer nights are starting to come to an end, so what better way to end the season than with a day of laughter-country western style. We loved celebrating the occasion with all the team members, families, friends and the community of Hadleigh.”

Overall the home raised £400 for the resident's amenities fund.
