Broomhills care home welcomed Buddy the Labrador and his carer from Pets As Therapy.

Pets As Therapy is a great scheme, aiming to enhance lives in our communities by providing companionship and friendship and helps to tackle loneliness. Pet therapy improves the lives of people suffering from debilitating mental and physical health conditions and illnesses such as Autism, Dementia and Stroke by including animal assisted interventions as part of a holistic approach to treatment.

Residents were ecstatic to meet Buddy, and were delighted to be able to cuddle him.
