We like to involve our clients throughout the year in assisting with menu changes. Sometimes the meals may reflect a theme or activity for variety.
Health and Personal Services
Whilst you are here, we can also arrange for a visit from a chiropodist and/or an optician for very reasonable prices. For a small fee we also provide a Bathing Service.
The Day Centre also has hair dressing services, so should you wish to have your hair done please arrange this in advance with the hairdressers.
Staffing
All of our staff undertake cultural training and development; with a particular focus on the needs of people living with dementia.
Admissions Policy
Highview Day Centre seeks to be open and available to all of the local community. We accept referrals from private individuals and Adult Care Services. Please Contact us for further discussion and to arrange a tour of our facilities.
ACS will assess your transport needs under the Assisted Transport Policy and you may be entitled to a service from HCS Transport but not all people will have transport provided based on the assessment. If, however, you are self-funding your visits to the day centre, you will need to make private transport arrangements to pick you up to and from the day centre.

What our clients have to say about us:
My nan used to love coming to the centre on a Monday and Friday, the transport was great and the only thing that wasn't as good as hers was the food (but then nan was fussy!) I only live around the corner and used to see nan go by on the bus. All the staff and manager are very friendly and kind, so thank you xxx
