Welcome to Ivy Court. Situated in Balby, Doncaster, our 71-bed residential and dementia care home offers person-centred care and an established community for our residents to thrive. At Ivy Court, we place a real emphasis on celebrating the lives of each and every one of our residents.

Meet Our Home Manager

Stacey Dean

Hi, my name is Stacey, and I am the Home Manager at Ivy Court.

I joined Runwood Homes in 2019 as a Deputy Manager and quickly progressed to Home Manager. After 4 years managing Rowena House, I went on maternity leave, and upon my return, I joined Ivy Court as Home Manager.

My role is challenging yet very rewarding, and I wouldn’t want to do anything else.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food or modified food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.

Mum had to be placed in respite due to a family emergency at very short notice. All I can say is that the level of professionalism, speed and care that we received was outstanding. The home, itself, is like a five-star hotel, with every little detail taken care of. It smells beautiful when you walk in and the entire place is immaculate with non-stop cleaning taking place. I have extremely high standards but myself and other family members were blown away by this place. The customer relations manager and another member of staff have permanently been on hand to answer any concerns or questions. The staff are caring and friendly and made Mum feel at ease immediately, so much so that we are in the process of making this her permanent home
