Meet Our Home Manager

Siobhan Kearns

My name is Siobhan and began my career in care in 2012 starting as a Care Assistant. I then progress to a Team Leader, then Unit Manager. My initial goal was to become a Deputy Manager which I achieved in 2020 when I joined Runwood Homes at a different home and moved to Cherry tree Lodge in March 2022. I stepped into a Home Manager role with Cherry Tree Lodge in December 2023. I love to be involved with residents and getting stuck in with activities or supporting residents with daily living tasks. Care work is incredibly rewarding, and every day is different. Outside of work I enjoy crocheting and spending time with my 2 boys.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.

Activities & Events

Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include Music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
