Residents at Carrickfergus Manor in Northern Ireland knit for premature babies

Residents at Carrickfergus Manor residential care home in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, knit for TinyLife.

TinyLife, Northern Ireland's premature baby charity, visited Carrickfergus Manor to collect the hats residents have been busy knitting for premature babies. Every day in Northern Ireland six babies are born too soon, and our residents are only too pleased to offer their help in providing warmth and comfort that the babies need in their earliest days.

What a wonderful achievement – thank you to residents of Carrickfergus Manor!

This nursing care home in Carrickfergus, just off Prince Andrew Way, provides around the clock residential care to older people, including those living with dementia, and those requiring general nursing.
