Chelmunds Court celebrate resident's 65th Wedding Anniversary & more…

Residents from Chelmunds Court residential care and nursing home in Solihull have enjoyed the fair weather this summer and have spent lots of time outside in their courtyard garden and on outings.

Known as the Chelmunds Court Walking Club, residents and their carers regularly enjoy fresh air and exercise together walking around the local area, taking an interest in the new buildings and making the most of the facilities close by. The area has undergone a redevelopment to provide leisure, healthcare, residential and community facilities, including new schools and green areas.

Special celebrations at the home have also taken place. June, a resident at Chelmunds Court, and her husband Leslie recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on 29th August! The adorable couple were joined at Chelmunds Court by lots of family, friends and carers to celebrate their happy moment and enjoyed a delicious cake that was presented to them – Happy Anniversary from all at Runwood Homes!
