Mavis Cooke delighted to attend wedding with help from Chelmunds Court

With her trusty carer, Karl, by her side, Chelmunds Court resident, Mavis Cooke, was delighted to be able to attend the wedding of her beloved grandson. Doesn't Mavis look beautiful?

Having support on-hand for any care needs throughout the day, Mavis’ family were comforted that Mavis was in safe hands and were pleased of the special arrangements made for Chelmunds Court Care Assistant, Karl, to escort Mavis ensuring she didn’t miss out on the memorable day.

Mavis was able to join her whole family and see her grandson get married at a lovely venue in Henley in Arden. Thanks to Karl, part of the professional care team at Chelmunds Court, Mavis spent the day with her husband, Michael, daughter, Alison and son-in-law, Nick, and the rest of the family. It was also a great day to interact with all the grandchildren and other family members too.

Karl commented, "Mavis enjoyed the day! Her family were very welcoming and it was his pleasure to have taken part in the wedding celebration and a real privilege to escort Mavis.”
