New name for Whitnash residential care home

To mark the welcoming of new management at our Whitnash residential care home in Warwickshire, the 76 bedroom elderly care residence owned by Runwood Homes’, has officially changed its name from The Lawns to Cherry Tree Lodge.

To coincide with new name, a cherry tree will be planted within the grounds of Cherry Tree Lodge, witnessed by residents and recently instated Manager, Karen Wright, along with her team of expert care providers.

Cherry trees made their way to England via the Romans; it is said that many a Roman road had cherry trees along it from stones spat by marching legions and, apparently, the Regia Via was the main Roman road from Radford Semele to Whitnash passing through the Whitnash Brook Valley. With a lovely local connection, we will continue the cherry tree cultivation at Cherry Tree Lodge!

Cherry Tree Lodge, situated at 1 Gleave Road, Whitnash, is a spacious home providing expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.
