Dunmurry Manor’s Manager forms part of new Care initiative with South Eastern Trust

The Manager of Dunmurry Manor care home in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, is excited to enter into a trial project with the South Eastern Trust, to be part of the ‘Care Citizens Hub’.

Care Citizens Hub is a new, engaging group set up by the South Eastern Trust Safeguarding and Monitoring Team to organising and implement community projects, with ideas put forward such as, interactive training courses, outdoor landscaping projects and creative initiatives in Dunmurry and other areas under the South Eastern Trust.

Dunmurry Manor’s Home Manager, Michelle Montgomery, said, ‘The plans for this project are very interesting and I am really proud to be part of the Care Citizens Hub trail project. I feel it will greatly benefit Dunmurry Manor residents because the planned funding and community integration will give our residents, as well as others in our local community, the opportunity to be involved in some wonderful engaging activities and feel a great sense of belonging and achievement.’
