Eastham and Windle Court join together for summer garden party

Two Runwood Homes close to one another in Essex, Eastham and Windle Court, came together to hold a combined summer garden party. Friends and family of residents also got involved and were a huge help behind-the-scenes and made the day a delightful success.

Residents were provided with a BBQ and sandwiches, as well as some spectacular cakes and delicious tea and coffee in the afternoon. The homes were joined by Sarah Peterson, a wonderful singer who entertained everyone with some lovely songs, and encouraged residents to get up and get moving. To finish off the day there was a raffle with great prizes to be won and even a coconut shy to contend with!
