Elf Day fundraising across Runwood Homes’ for Alzheimer’s Society
Our lovely carers and residents at Runwood Homes’ across the country dressed up as elves on Friday 7 December for ‘Elf Day’, a fun dress up day set up by the Alzheimer’s Society. With around 80% of our residents living with varying levels of dementia, this is a cause we are so passionate about.
Elf Day is a festive fundraiser designed to get you everyone the Christmas spirit whilst raising money to help beat dementia. Featured here are a few of our festive professional care teams celebrating Elf Day!
Elf Day was celebrated at Windle Court, who to joined other senior citizens at the South Woodham Ferrers Council Christmas party at Champions Manor Hall. Woodbury Court in Laindon, Essex, as well as Leawood Manor in West Bridgford, in Nottinghamshire, and Oldfield House in Stainforth, Doncaster, all gave their residents a laugh and enjoyed the Elf Day experience. Jubilee Court in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, put on their a traditional Christmas pantomime production, Puss in Boots, to entertain their residents on Elf Day.
