Runwood Homes celebrates Guy Fawkes Night, complete with fireworks, sparklers and penny for the guy.

Residents across Runwood Homes had a specular time celebrating Guy Fawkes Night. Complete with cakes, tea, fireworks, bonfires and penny for the guy, it sure was a night to remember. Residents were joined by family, friends and members of the local community to celebrate, and enjoyed watching the fireworks displays.

Residents at Broomhills care home in Rochford, Essex, had a wonderful time getting involved and making their Penny For The Guy, and were keen to keep the tradition going. On the night, residents and staff enjoyed their local free fireworks, made pumpkin soup from their own home-grown pumpkins, and burning their Penny For The Guy on the bonfire.

Residents at Alexandra House in Harlow, Essex, got involved by lighting sparklers which they said was great fun, and roasting delicious marshmallows on their small fire in the homes garden space.

Westwood care home in Nottinghamshire went above and beyond this Guy Fawkes Night for their residents, putting on a brilliant fireworks display. Residents watched from a safe distance and enjoyed some hot drinks with their family and friends.

Park View in Witham also enjoyed their own small fireworks display and residents wrapped up warm and enjoyed their dinner whilst watching.

Jubilee Court in Hucknall had a brilliant feast to complete their Bonfire Night. With the help of the homes local volunteers, staff made a cake for each of the homes units to celebrate the occasion, decorated with fireworks, to enjoy alongside their sandwiches and tea.
