Waterfield House is a great example of a modern, well-established and purpose built care home situated in the ancient market town of Hadleigh. Enjoying a pleasant location in a quiet cul-de-sac this bright and spacious 75 bed residence offers professional, high quality care for range of needs, including specialist provision for those living with dementia or requiring palliative attention. Just a 30 minute car journey from Ipswich Waterfield House is easily accessible from the whole of Suffolk and beyond.
All residents stay on an all-inclusive basis. The all-inclusive weekly fee is £750 per week. This single fee means everything is included and you will not be charged for any extras including your meals, laundry, housekeeping, newspapers, in-house activities and entertainment and friends or relatives can dine with you free of charge (limited offer and based on pre-assesment).
Creating a homely environment in which residents can feel relaxed, calm and as independent as possible, whilst still being assured of a high level of support and care, is our top priority. Our superior level of accommodation features attractively decorated and beautifully furnished individual bedrooms, which residents are free to personalise with their own items, complete with ensuite bathrooms and pleasant views - matching the bright, airy and cheerful surroundings of the rest of the home. Waterfield House also boasts comfortable communal lounge areas where individuals can relax and socialise. We are also proud to have a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable residents to maintain their independence in a protected environment. Being completely access friendly residents of all mobility levels - including wheelchair users - can feel confident of being able to enjoy the freedom to go where they like in safety.
With a full range of additional amenities Waterfield House also features a lovely tea room/cafe area within the home, offering delicious homemade cakes and biscuits, as well as 'help yourself' tea and coffee facilities. This provides a wonderful additional space for residents to meet, entertain visitors and enjoy some company. This is particularly popular for residents who are living with dementia - allowing them to benefit from the experience of going out without having to leave the protective environment of the care home.
Externally, Waterfield House has some lovely gardens for residents and visitors to enjoy, with well maintained lawns, patio (with adequate shade),wildlife section, a planting & gardening area and even some pet rabbits to play with!
