Staff at Humfrey Lodge hosted a brilliant Bingo Night for eager residents!

Wellbeing Lead at Humfrey Lodge, Weronika Bien, arranged a lovely bingo night for residents to partake in with their family and friends. Winners were awarded with a festive box of chocolates, and everyone had a brilliant time getting involved. Activities are great for socialising and creating conversation, and activities like bingo can help to improve cognition and can help stimulate memory and thought processes for patients in varying stages of memory loss.

Humfrey Lodge is a 48 bed home situated in the rural village of Thaxted. Located in a quiet residential area with nearby shops and amenities, this spacious home is very much part of the local community and provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.
