Staff and residents came together for a fun, food-based activity at Humfrey Lodge care home in Thaxted, Essex, recently. Residents used plastic cutters to make various different watermelon shapes, and they all had a great time taking part. At the end of the activity, residents were able to enjoy their watermelon as an afternoon snack, which is also brilliant for hydration via something other than liquids.
