Leawood Manor & YOPEY Befrienders in the news
So far this year twenty eight 16-17 year-old students from Rushcliff School have visited Leawood Manor care home in West Bridgford, Nottingham, nearly 400 times, and given over 400 hours of their time.
Our Leawood Manor residents, many living with dementia, are really benefitting from the engaging YOPEY Befriender scheme, where young people provide care home residents with new, genuine and continuing companionships by sharing experiences, memories and stories.
