Longview care home hosts Dinner Dance for residents

Residents at Longview care home on Canvey Island, Essex, were treated by staff when they were taken on a date with either staff or relatives, to a dinner dance. The local community got involved and donated evening dresses and suits for residents to dress up in, and students came along to do hair and makeup too.

Once everyone was suitably dolled up, couples were able to enjoy a ride in a luxury Bentley (compliments of Henderson’s Car Hire) before being dropped off at the venue. The night included some champagne, followed by a lovely three course meal.

Residents were joined by a wonderful magician, followed by a great singer. Residents thorough enjoyed themselves and said it was the best dinner dance they had ever been to.
