Longview receives generous Prince’s Trust donation

Thank you to the Prince's Trust for raising £800 to improve the outdoor space for residents at Longview care home on Canvey Island in Essex. The team of friendly volunteers purchased plants, gnomes, hanging baskets, paint and more as part of their generous garden spruce-up project.

The Prince's Trust volunteers have been visiting Canvey Island care home, Longview, over a period of two weeks and have worked so hard to make such appreciated improvements. Residents have really enjoyed the company of the green-fingered helpers and have happily worked alongside them in the garden.

Longview Care Home on Canvey Island, in Essex, has a Summer Fete coming up on Saturday 11 August from 2pm, come along and see for yourselves the beautiful work our residents and volunteers have produced!

Selfless and kind acts such as this really do enrich our Runwood Homes residents lives, promoting team work, encouraging engagement, exercise, building relationship within the local community as well as helping to bridge the generation gap.
