b'LAUNCHING OURENVIRONMENTALPOETRY COMPETITIONAcross the Group, homes focused on the environment as the theme of the month forMarch, as part of our dignity campaign. The theme gives special focus to how homescan help to look after the world around them. We only have one earth, so hometeams and residents were encouraged to think about what they can do to protectand cherish it.In addition to these activities taking place within the home, we were pleased tolaunch our environmental poetry competition, which not only encouragesparticipants to think about the environment, which links to the months theme, butalso inspires creativity, imagination and some healthy competition too!Residents, staff teams and relatives were all encouraged to take part, to reallyspread the creativity and get as many people as possible thinking about theenvironment and its importance. Whether its a poem showcasing what the homehas done this month for the environment, the beauty of nature, fascinating wildlife,or the benefits that the environment has brought us in past experiences, participantshad limitless choices on what they could write about. The deadline for the competition was the 5th of April and the team were delighted toreceive some very impressive entries and enjoyed reading them all. The top entrieswill be published on our social media and website, and the winner will receive afantastic planting and growing kit worth 100 for their home.Jubilee Court,Hucknall 1 3'
