Summer Update at Park View in Warwick

All in the name of wellbeing, the residents at Park View in Warwickshire have enjoyed a fine summer full of events and outings to enrich their lives, providing physical and mental exercise, social interaction and a continued zest for life. We wanted to post some photos to share with you what our residents have been up to.

Residents, staff and visitors to Park View care home in Warwick enjoyed an afternoon at the annual Park View Summer Fete, hosted and organised by the professional care team. Everyone enjoyed browsing the many shopping stalls, eating delicious cakes freshly baked by the Park View residential cooks, fun games put on by the local church and, not forgetting, all the fantastic prizes won in the raffle! Plus, £540 was raised for the Park View residential care home Residents Activities Fund to enjoy many more fun times outside of the home.

In addition to the Summer Fete, a great day was had by all at the Park View Summer Party which had a Wild West theme - YEE HAW! At Park View care home in Warwick, residents enjoyed al fresco entertainment; a live American country singer, plus wild west accessories and food.

Residents really do know how to make the most of the fine summer weather. Accompanied by their carers, Park View took a trip out to Hatton Country World, a beautiful attraction in Hatton Warwick, including a browse around the shops and a relaxed, well-earned rest with a delicious lunch.
