New Key Appointment at Runwood Homes; Head of Commissioning and Premium Services

With 20 years’ experience in the care sector, Peta Mandleberg has joined Runwood Homes as Head of Commissioning and Premium Services; a key member within the group to oversee and implement an exciting premium build programme planned across the country.

Supporting Chief Executive Officer of Runwood Homes, Gordon Sanders’, ambitious plans to drive forward opportunities identified within the healthcare industry, Peta’s extensive experience and well-practised skills will play an active part in the company’s future.

As Head of Commissioning and Premium Services, Peta has a vital role in the company’s future growth and she expects to position the planned new-build residences, which will sit under a new sister brand, as one of the key high-end, niche providers of premium standards in senior living.

Peta speaks of her dedication to senior health and wellbeing; "I am passionate about ensuring older people actively enjoy later life and strive to enable people to be in much greater control of how they live on a minute-by-minute basis. I like to do things differently; avoiding the ‘vanilla’ offering of some care homes.”

Reflecting on the care services industry, Peta comments, "As more and more homes are being purpose built and replacing a lot of older services which no longer meet market expectations, it is key that service levels and build standards deliver fantastic standards of lifestyle as well as care and that they also represent value for money.”
