Runwood Homes supports Red Lippy Day for Dementia Nurses!
On 4 May 2018, residents, visitors, care staff and dementia nurses at Runwood Homes Senior Living Homes across the UK painted their lips red in aid of Dementia UK. The Red Lippy Day campaign aims to raise awareness of dementia and raise funds for more Admiral Nurses; specialist dementia nurses who give expert practical, clinical and emotional support to families living with dementia.
These great photos were shared by Jubilee Court, in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, Rose Court in Brocklamont, Ballymena, Northern Ireland and Windle Court in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.
Along with our care staff and dementia nurses, the experienced and knowledgable Dementia Services Team at Runwood Homes strives to enhance the quality of life for those living with dementia in our care by providing comfortable and engaging environments, coordinating and continuously developing appropriate activities, creating a true sense of well being and teaching best practise when caring and communicating with dementia residents.
