Residents at Rosedale Court delighted to have visit from local pony!

Residents at Rosedale Court in Rayleigh, Essex, were delighted to have a visit from a local pony. The pony, from Scooty Wooty’s Pony Parties in Essex, made a kind visit to the home for some very special animal therapy for the resident. Pet therapy with the elderly has been linked to reductions in loneliness, agitated behaviours, and depression, as well as increases in engagement, wellbeing, nutritional intake, and social interactions.
